Registration for the online conference is now open to academics, social development practitioners, policymakers, students, and other stakeholders, with fantastic rates for those who register before 28 May. The conference promises to be an exciting space in which to highlight innovative social development responses to understanding and addressing poverty and inequality. With abstracts from over 30 countries received and several exceptional keynote speakers confirmed you do not want to miss out on securing your place to participate.


The conference takes place from 13 – 16 July online. Sub-themes of the conference include climate change, racial and gender inequality, youth, families and child well-being, financial capability, institutional arrangements to foster social development, and social development innovations. The conference will also engage with social development responses to current social and economic crises.
